At TexHealth, our goal is promoting health by expanding access to doctors and other care, and encouraging healthy lifestyles.  Our program offers a wide choice of providers through the United Healthcare’s Choice Plus network.

The TexHealth 3-share approach is an innovative way to keep health care costs lower for you and your employees, while still providing a comprehensive benefit plan that includes:

• Primary and specialty care
• Inpatient and outpatient hospitalization
• Pharmacy
• Lab and X-ray
• Emergency room treatment
• Maternity care
• Behavioral health services
• Access to United Healthcare’s network, the largest network of hospitals, physicians and other healthcare professionals in Central Texas.

What makes this program different from other health care plans for small businesses?

It’s an innovative non-profit 3-Share Plan that covers part of the monthly cost for employees.  3-share means that the cost of the plan is split between the employer, the employee, and TexHealth. For those employees making $15.62 an hour or less, the TexHealth share can reduce the monthly plan cost to only $94 for the employer and qualifying employee.

This new 3-Share approach is designed specifically for small businesses that want to offer health benefits to their employees but have been unable to do so until now.

Small Business Healthcare Tax Credit
